I employ motivational interviewing techniques to facilitate health behavior change. My dedication spans over 24 years in nursing, including 13 years of volunteering as a recovery support advocate and nurse educator for a faith-based residential program, focusing on substance use recovery. My focus lies in developing interventions for families impacted by mental health and substance use issues, partnering with communities to improve recovery outcomes.
